How to Make It

1. Step
Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and lightly coat a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the oats, soy flour, dry milk, wheat germ, almonds, dried apples, raisins, and salt. Stir well to blend and set aside.

In a small saucepan, stir together the honey, peanut butter, and olive oil over medium-low heat until well blended. Do not let the mixture boil.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the warm honey mixture over the dry ingredients and stir quickly until well combined. The mixture should be sticky but not wet.

Pat the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan, pressing firmly to remove any air pockets.

Bake in the preheated oven until the edges begin to brown, about 25 minutes.

Allow the pan to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then cut into 24 bars.
